Google Checkout Integration

Google Checkout is a shopping cart checkout process that you integrate with your Online storefront or website, which enables your store customers to buy from you quickly, easily and securely, using only one account and a single username and password for purchases. Once a customer buys something, you can use Checkout to charge their credit cards, process their orders, and receive payments to your personal or business bank account.

When store shoppers add products to your shopping cart they can choose to either checkout using Google Checkout or a traditional checkout using a merchant account or Paypal. If they choose Google Checkout they will then be sent to a special secure site on Google where they sign-in, choose the address to ship the product to and payment method, then complete the order. If the shopper does not currently have a Google account to sign-in with they can get one instead of signing right in. Google Checkout will remember any and all previous shipping, payment, and other information for a customers account. The shopper can even view previous orders they have made using their Checkout account.

Google Checkout Integration

Attract new store customers:
AdWords advertisers who offer Google Checkout as a payment and checkout option can place the Google Checkout badge in their AdWords ads. The Google Checkout badge is a small shopping cart icon that highlights your business and tells potential customers that shopping with you will be fast, convenient, and secure.

Convert more sales:
Google Checkout's fast and secure checkout process helps persuade shoppers to buy on your site and buy more often, reducing shopping cart abandonment.

Protect yourself from fraud:
Google's fraud prevention tools stop invalid orders from reaching you. And their Checkout Payment Guarantee policy helps protect you from chargebacks.

Low transactions processing fees:
Google will process your Checkout transactions using their standard fee structure of 2% + $0.20 per transaction. Merchants who use AdWords are still able to process certain transactions for free. Every $1.00 merchants spend on AdWords, Google will credit $10.00 of Checkout sales for free.

Credit card processing:
Process credit card payments from Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover simply and easily.

Partial funds capture:
Collect the full payment for a product or item ordered over the course of several, smaller, charges.

Pricing:
If you are an AdWords advertiser, you will be able to process $10.00 in Checkout orders for free for every $1.00 spent on AdWrods advertisements. For all other orders, the standard processing fees will be used.

Low standard transaction fees:
When you use Google Checkout to process your sales, you'll only be charged a low 2% + $0.20 per transaction.

No hidden charges or fees:
There are absolutely no additional monthly, setup, or merchant gateway service fees when you use Google Checkout.

Refunds:
Process refunds for a specified dollar amount.
